About Kaitee
I, Kaitee, have a lot of opinions about everything. The fact is, pretty much everything annoys me and I have a general tendency to go on about things that annoy me for a rather lengthy period time (or so it must seem to my long suffering boyfriend (now husband) when he tells me to shut up before he feeds me through a woodchipper).
I read far too many gossip columns and news websites and have an alarming amount of free time on my hands when I'm at work, so in an effort to prevent the inevitability of being brutally murdered as a consequence of my need to incessantly bitch about everything, I’ve been persuaded to write about the things that bug the crap out of me as opposed to bothering him when he is trying to do more important things (like play guitar).
I had been debating exactly what format I should use, since my taste in everything is so far out it’s in another galaxy. Hence, I decided I’d just do a simple blog type thing for a few reasons: A: It’s easier; B: Then I don’t need to write about specific content; C: My programming skills are rather limited.
As abovementioned, I hate pretty much everything, so to simplify things for people, I have decided to make a list of the things that really get up my nose so you all know exactly where I stand on the really important issues of life.
- Fashion.
- Public Transport.
- Pop Music.
- Teenagers.
- Emos.
- Contemporary art.
- Artists and Political Science students.
- Boredom.
- The Cairns Post.
- Sand.
- Illiteracy.
- Stupid people.
- Ninjas
- People who walk slowly when you’re in a hurry.
- Napolean Dynamite.
- Kids cartoons (except the stuff from the 80s)
- Cleaning.
- AFL.
- Rugby.
- Cricket.
On the other hand, the list of things I like is much shorter:
- Gossip blogs
- Bitching about things that annoy me.
- Vikings & Pirates
- Computer and console games, all things nerdy.
- Reading news websites and always constantly being surprised by the new depths of stupidity or depravity people manage to sink to.
- Battlestar Galactica and Doctor Who.
- Extreme sports.
To sum up, I am an opinionated Aussie with a loud mouth and little tolerance for bullshit. Here be my soapbox.
